Snap-in Dentures

A snap-in denture attaches to a small number of implants using ball attachments or a bar, and it clicks into place securely while still being removable for cleaning each night. This option gives most of the stability of a permanent solution while keeping the denture easy to take out and care for, which some patients prefer.

Fixed Implant-Supported Dentures

A fixed implant-supported denture takes things a step further. It is anchored permanently to a greater number of implants and functions much closer to natural teeth, because you do not remove it for cleaning or sleeping. Patients who want to forget they are wearing a denture at all, rather than being reminded of it every time they take it out, tend to lean toward the fixed option. Patients who are missing an entire arch sometimes explore partials and dentures as a comparison point before deciding which implant-supported route fits best.
